Skills Summary

Acoustic Technical Knowledge – researched auralization for acoustic modeling (CATT-Acoustics, Cadna), knowledge in acoustic standards (ASA classroom standards, ISO standards) to research green wall soundscapes and auralization. Experience in European standards, specifically open plan spaces. Environmental acoustics industry work.

Auralization in Catt-Acoustics

Acoustic Instrumentation – Experience in environmental and architectural field work. Used equipment such as sound level meters, omni-directional loudspeakers, artificial mouth speakers, pistolet. Worked in long-term (7 day) measurements, reverberation tests, acoustic decay tests, ambient and background tests. Recorded sound bites and measured sound intensity of speakers in anechoic chamber. Measured train vibrations, highway noise, and classrooms and open plan spaces.

Signal Processing and Programming – C# software from scratch for sound analysis of open plan work spaces using an acquisition system and microphones. Developed noise filters, FFT, Hanning windows for simultaneous input systems of two microphones, sound-based distance calculations and automatic measurement analysis.
